Hi I'm Kayla Cindric

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio. I converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints June 2012.

About Me

I was recently called to serve as a missionary in the Cambodia Phnom Penh Mission. I love the gospel, of course. I love writing, journalism, and drawing. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English and soon will learn Cambodian for my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything makes sense. The spirit personally has testified unto my the truth of the gospel. All my life, we church hopped because we felt like something was missing. We then were invited to church by several friends who we have known for years and we felt that we belonged and that the principles taught are true. I love knowing that Heavenly Father lives and that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

During high school, I woke up at 5am to attend seminary, a class provided for high school students to learn about the scriptures. I loved getting up and going to learn about the gospel and the scriptures. I love being the president of seminary and graduating. The knowledge that I learned will help me on my mission. As I grew in my testimony, I helped the young women in my ward strengthen their testimonies with lessons and activities.
