Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in California. I help take care of kids and plan to become a kindergarten teacher. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love staying active and helping others, especially little children. I grew up playing soccer for about eight years until too many injuries occcured, preventing me from performing my best. Shortly after quiting soccer, I have been able to discover other talents and passions of mine. They include playing the piano, serving others, and hleping little children to develop and learn. Since discovering my passion for kids, I have helped several families and am now training to become a teacher. I am grateful for the struggles I have been through to discover my true passions and learn true gospel principles in life.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up in the church, I did not convert to the gospel of Jesus Christ until I was about 16 years old. As Ether 12:6 states, you can "receive no witness until after the trial of your faith", and my faith was definitely tested while I was trying to balance school, soccer, church, and work. During this time, I learned to rely more heavily upon the Savior and as I did He continued to strengthen me and help me overcome my weaknesses and challenges. My testimony has increased over the years through my faithfulness in relying upon the Savior. Now, I am ready to share my testimony with others and help others come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by alwaying having a prayer in my heart. I start the day with pray, pray for help during the day, and end the day with a prayer. This has helped me to stay centered on Christ and remember the sacrifices He has made for God's children. I also strive to read the scrptures every day and pray to increase my testimony on what I have read. My biggest goal is to find someone in need who I can help, whether it be a simple smile or helping someone move, it does not matter. I live my faith by leading by example to show others kindness, generosity, and most importantly, Christ-like love.
