Hi I'm Makenna Adling

I grew up in the USA and now I am preparing to serve a mission and serve in Tokyo, Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play soccer and have been playing for about 15 years. I also have been in theater since middle school and was very involved both onstage and behind the scenes. My ultimate favorite hobby is to study foreign languages, especially Asian languages. I plan to become a translator and interpreter with this.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church with all my heart and it definitely is what brings me closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My loving Father in heaven lives and loves all of his children who are here on Earth. I love that through His plan and the work of the church, families can be together for eternity and live back with Heavenly Father. I am grateful that I can feel His love for me through the Holy Ghost because even though people of our faith always seem to be happy, we have our moments of trial. However, through these moments of trial, I have felt and have been reassured that my Heavenly Father is there for me through anything and everything and I truly have had to rely on Him. I'm also grateful that Jesus Christ died for me and feels everything that I do, and He does for everyone too. I have such a deep love for my God and my Savior and I know that they love me, my family, and every single person out there with all of their hearts and they will always be there for us for as long as we can even imagine.

How I live my faith

I participate in a lot of community service and really try to help as many people as I possibly can. I'm also a Ward Missionary in my ward and love to go out to lessons with the sister missionaries. I get to plan activities to help include people who are investigating The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and really try to make them feel included and loved.
