Hi I'm Emma

I am a human being, I love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

After being a championship level Irish dancing for 9 years, my feet could no longer do what they once were able to do. So to keep myself active, I switched over to kickboxing. I am now currently a green belt kickboxer, my favorite punch is the spinning back fist, and I still have a soft spot for Irish dancing in my heart. I grew up in this gospel but while I was young, I wasn't truly a member at heart. Not until I went to my very first girls camp with the Young Women. After being truly converted at heart, I loved everything the gospel had to bring. I loved it so much and saw how it blessed my life in such a way that I wanted to share my joy and my knowledge with those who did not have it. So I am currently serving a mission in Virginia! :D I love this gospel, I love the peace and comfort that it brings me, I love the blessings that I am promised for continually following the commandments and what the Lord teaches, and I love being part of the LDS church!

Why I am a Mormon

I have had too many experiences, miracles, blessings, and witnesses from the Holy Ghost for this church not to be true. I have gained my own personal witness of all that this religion entails. I have prayed about this church, about Joseph Smith, about the Book of Mormon, about everything. Sometimes my faith was tried and I had to wait a very long time for answers, but I was always answered. Knowing what I know and feeling what I have felt, how could I not be a member of this church? How could I deny my Savior and Father in Heaven by refusing to listen to and follow their teachings? I am a Mormon, because I know the truth.

How I live my faith

I continually live my faith by praying night and day to my Father in Heaven in the name of Jesus Christ and by doing all that He asks me to do. I could say that I am serving as a representative of Jesus Christ by being a missionary called by the Prophet of God here on Earth today, but I think it is the simple things that truly show our faith as a members. Things such as praying to Heavenly Father, having faith that He won't give us any trials we can't handle and will continue to answer our prayers, continually going to church, reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible hand in hand, and basically just being as much like Jesus Christ as we can be by following His teachings.
