Hi I'm Bekah

Just a girl from Wisconsin, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the beautiful state of Wisconsin. I am a student at BYU-Idaho, but I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission in the Idaho Nampa Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that everyone is entitled to receive personal revelation for themselves. God has promised that if we "ask" then "ye shall receive." This is something very special between us personally and the Lord. I have applied this to my own life. I have read the Book of Mormon and have asked God that I might know of myself if it is true. And He answered me, for I know for myself it is true. And just as I prayed for that, I have prayed about many other things in the church. I am a Mormon because I have received personal revelation from God, and I know it is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by following the teachings of Jesus Christ and His gospel and doing what God has asked of me. I enjoy reading my scriptures, and I also pray, attend church, serve others, and try to keep the promises and commandments I have made to God. I continually strive to strengthen my faith. I have learned that to truly live my faith means that there is always room for improvement. To follow Christ's example and try to model our lives after His, we have to be willing to change.
