Hi I'm Miles
I'm 17. I compose orchestral music. I'm headed on a two year mission. And I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I love to play the piano, and I have for twelve years. I enjoy writing piano and orchestral compositions, and hope to continue professionally. I read avidly, enjoy tv shows like Psych and Friends. I live in a family of seven, and have a chihuahua. I plan on attending OU with a full ride scholarship, possibly entering into Astrophysics or Music.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon because I love my Savior. I've been going to church with my family since I was born, and it has taught me everything from good morals to getting through hard times when all seems lost and alone. I believe that this church is the correct church, that god and his son live. I believe in Joseph Smith, that he was a prophet that reinstated this true church in modern times. I believe everything the Book of Mormon teaches, and all other books of scripture. I know that if I keep God's commandments, I can live with my family forever after we die on Earth.
How I live my faith
In my ward of the church, I served as an organist every week: I got to lead all the members in singing hymns by playing the organ. I also led many different groups of young men, ranging in age from 12 - 16. I was able to home teach some families with my dad; to share messages with them and help with anything they needed. I'm now serving a two-year mission in Ukraine.
