Hi I'm Rachel Harmon

I grew up in Salt Lake. I'm a missionary for the Lord. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the church! I've finished a year of college before entering into the field. While I'm not a missionary, I love to do all kinds of outdoor things! In the summer, I love to hike, boat, wake surf, play tennis, play volleyball, swim. Just about anything outside. All growing up, I played soccer competitively. In 2016, we won the state championships. In the winter, I LOVE to ski!! I also love sledding, hot chocolate, and the snow. I love living in a place where it snows all winter!! I come from a big family with lots of siblings and one nephew. Hopefully.. I'll come back to more nephews and nieces. I love little kids and their sweet spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply, because it makes me happy. I've had close family members fall away from the gospel and I've seen the difference the gospel can make in someone's life. All the principles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are all happy and hopeful. I know through Christ, that I can live with my family throughout eternity. I know that the burden of a sin can be lifted from me through Jesus Christ. I know I never have to be alone, because the Holy Ghost is always with me. I can be helped and guided into making better decisions for myself. The gospel is such a special thing in my life, and now that I live it, I would never have it ANY other way.

How I live my faith

Right now, how I'm participating in a community is by being a full-time missionary. While back home, I was called on the activities board in my ward. That means, I would plan all the parties for the ward. I live my faith, by going to church weekly, reading my scriptures, and keeping constant communication with Heavenly Father by praying to Him daily.
