Hi I'm Chyna Manriquez

I am from Clovis, California. I love this gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Chyna. I am from central valley California. I am currently enrolled at BYU-Idaho and have found it to be one of the best decisions I have made. Some of my hobbies include dancing, baking delicious treats, and spending time with my friends and family. I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I love this gospel with all my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and have continued to follow this gospel with the help of my family. My mom grew up in the church, but my father became a member shortly after I was born. About a year later my parents, my younger sister, and I were sealed in the Columbia, South Carolina temple. As I have grown up in this church I have noticed how much members of the church stand out compared to those who aren't. As I was younger, I did not like being different but as I got older I grew to love being different. I love sharing the happiness I feel through this gospel with so many others who do not have this gospel in their lives. This is why I want to serve a full time mission, I want to bring all of Heavenly Father's children to Him and share the happiness I feel.

How I live my faith

As I have grown up in this church I have had several amazing callings. I was the president of the Beehive class (12-13 year old girls), president of the Miamaid class (14-15 year old girls), president of the Laurel class (16-17 year old girls), as well as secretary and 1st counselor for Beehive and Laurel class. I am currently the teacher for CTR 4 in primary, which is teaching the 4-5 year olds about this gospel. I will soon be set apart to be a missionary for the LDS church and I cannot wait!
