Hi I'm Nicole Clark

I grew up in Las Vegas, am a photographer and graphic designer, and dance when I'm sad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Vegas and now I live in Utah where I am going to school. I love staying fit, especially through running since I did track and field in high school. I have played the violin for 6 years, participating in various orchestras. Though I may not be talented, I cannot go a day without singing or dancing. Not possible. My family can testify to that (sorry). I have always had a passion for photography, so I started my own business. I am obsessed with taking portraits and making that person feel attractive and happy. I pretty much enjoy all forms of art! I will continue my schooling as a graphic design major when I return from my mission to Sweden!

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time that I did not go to church and I didn't put God first. In fact I rarely thought of such things. During that time, I felt kinda...off. Something was definitely missing. I eventually met with the missionaries and got baptized at 12 yrs old. I know what it feels like to be without the gospel and I know what it feels like to live it every day. The difference is so prominent. I am a Mormon because this gospel of Christ doesn't make my life perfect, but it makes it way easier, because dang, life is HARD and unfair. I can testify to that. I cannot even imagine facing all my heartbreaking trials alone. Christ has been with me every single step of the way. I have learned. I have grown. And because of that, I am stronger. I have never felt such deep (and tear-inducing) hope, love, and joy, than from this gospel. I am a Mormon because Heavenly Father has given me everything I have and made me everything I am. Through my own experiences and questions and prayers, I have come to know that this is the true church on the earth. I know it with all my soul just as I love my Savior and Heavenly Father with all my heart.

How I live my faith

Nothing is more important to me than my faith and religion. That is why I am putting school on hold and sacrificing 18months to serve the Lord in Sweden. I am so very excited to love and serve the Swedes. As preparation, I am a ward (smaller scale) missionary. As a part of being a ward missionary, I have to teach class on sundays. As a 19 year old I sometimes feel inadequate teaching young 20-30 yr old adults. However, I know that God makes more out of us and our weaknesses than we ever thought if we trust in Him. The most important way I live my faith I think is trying my best to love everyone. I'm not perfect and I make mistakes, but I try and to be the best example and representative of Christ I can possible be because I know people notice that. I try to practice what I preach.
