Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Cottonwood Heights, UT. I love being outdoors; hiking, biking, and running. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University. I love studying astronomy, art history, and the Arab culture and language. My hobbies include hiking, biking, playing tennis, reading, and running. I love to travel with my family to places like Switzerland, Italy, Nepal, and Thailand. Most recently, I had the opportunity to live in Israel, and that is where I fell deeply in love with ancient scripture and Arab culture. I am passionate about humanitarian work, and my goal is to aid with Syrian refugees after completing a bachelor's degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has restored light and knowledge to the earth. I believe in Christ, and I know that we can have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I love the concept of progression, and our faith promotes constant growth. Our goal of one day returning to the presence of our God.

How I live my faith

Beginning in September of 2017 I have the opportunity to serve as a full-time representative of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in Tallahassee, Florida. Prior to this call I have served my peers in various callings through the relief society; namely caring for those around me.
