Hi I'm Richard

I enjoy programming and other science stuff. I have a bunch of other smaller hobbies too. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest one in my family with two younger brothers and one younger sister. I also became an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America I'm really good with computers, and one of my favorite things to do is to program. Recently I've been creating simple videogames with the code I'm using and it's pretty fun. Some other things I enjoy doing are playing the piano and drawing; I also read sometimes too. Something I've also been trying out recently is blacksmithing, and it's coming along alright. After I leave and get back from my two-year mission, I plan on going to BYU Idaho, and then Eastern Washington University.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have continued be a member since then. I have a testimony that the church is true, and following the directions and commandments has helped me to stay on a good path and to help me be a good person. By following the gospel I've also been able to strongly feel the spirit at many points in my life, and it's helped me to be a happy person.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a Ward Missionary for our church, and I'm very glad that I got my calling because I'm preparing to leave on a mission. Even if our lessons do get canceled, I'm still glad that I get the opportunity to hang out with the missionaries and learn something from them. I am also a home teaching companion for someone in my ward and I don't think that we've missed any months which is something that I'm proud of. I enjoy going out to talk and teach the families that we have. I also try to make it to every event that our Young Men's group hold; for me, it's important to show up to events or meetings that your able to. Helping other families through service is really important, and something that I enjoy doing whenever I get the chance.
