Hi I'm Benjamin

I grew up in Utah County. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I just graduated from High School in May, 2017, and I've been working the past few months for my neighbor in his warehouse. It's easy work, and I get to listen to audiobooks while I do it. So far I have listened to The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit, the Harry Potter series, and many other books, some of which were written by Brandon Sanderson. I enjoy playing the guitar and I've learned some pretty fun songs on it. I also enjoy playing the piano, but I'm not too good at sight-reading. I like cameras and enjoy making videos with them. I've also become pretty good with special effects. I love the outdoors and love to camp, hike, mountain bike, and rock climb. I've spent many a weekend out in the woods, and I love the trees and streams. I also love the mountains and the ocean, and I've always wanted to go to Alaska someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born with both my parents being Mormon, but they never forced me to be part of their church. At the age of 8, I decided for myself to be baptized into the church. Since then, my testimony and my relationship with Jesus Christ has grown to the point where I know that this church is Christ's church, and that He is the founder of it. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and I love the spirit I feel when I read it. Every day I am so grateful for being a part of this church. I don't know where I'd be without it. This church brings me so much joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my honest best to keep God's commandments and draw closer to Jesus Christ day by day. I love the relationship I have with Christ, and I try to live my life as He would want me to. Every day, I look for someone to serve and help out. I serve several families in my neighborhood on a regular basis, and try to support and uplift everyone I meet. I don't drink or swear or smoke, and I work hard to let Christ's light shine through me.
