Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a 53 yr. old college student and mother of six.

About Me

I am a 51 year old mother of 6, perusing a degree in Health Sciences. I have had a lifelong love affair with learning and have enjoyed my last 30 years of being a mother, as it is a calling and stewardship with lasting, eternal influence. I love watching my children learn, question, explore and gain knowledge and understanding they then apply in their own lives to enrich and enhance their experience her on earth. I also love watching how knowledge and understanding aid in enriching the lives of others. Currently, I am the Lifestyle Education Director at the Advanced Health Clinic in Farmington, Utah. My husband, Patrick and I also teach a Called to Serve!, Body, Mind and Spirit workshop for missionaries in Davis County. This quote from John Steinbeck is a favorite of mine..."Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts, since the medium is the human mind and spirit." I wish you joy in your journey this year and look forward to crossing paths in our common endeavors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have read the Book of Mormon and have a testimony that it is the word of God. I know that God has restored His gospel and priesthood power to the earth in preparation for the 2nd coming of our Lord and Savior. I know we have prophets and apostles living on the earth today I know God lives, Jesus is the Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost is a priceless gift we can each qualify to receive for our journey back into their presence.

How I live my faith

My greatest periods of growth in personal testimony and secular knowledge have come from my service in the kingdom. I have a firm testimony that the spirit of the Holy Ghost clarifies, ratifies and drives truth into our very souls, where we keep it forever…be it secular or of a religious nature. For in God’s eyes, I believe they are one and the same.
