Hi I'm Rebecca

I have a large family. We've moved all around the United States. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my family I am the second oldest. I have been attending college and am majoring in Microbiology. In my free time I enjoy doing things outdoors, like hiking, camping, and backpacking.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has always been LDS, but I have not taken it for granted. In my life I've had to rely a lot on God, and being a part of this church has always given me somewhere to look to for comfort and direction. Throughout my life, I have had friends who have asked me about the LDS church, and some who have tried to convince me that it wasn't true. Even though I have had experience with other churches, I have always come back to this one because it is truly for everyone, and it just makes sense. Though I have had questions in the past, I have never doubted my faith, and sooner or later I've gotten answers. The best way to know if something is true is by living the principles and doctrine on which it is founded, and by following Christ's example. I know that this church is true because I have felt it, lived it, and seen what it has done in the lives of others.

How I live my faith

In my ward, I attend church weekly and go to the weekly activities they have. Once a month, I visit a member of my ward with a message. I am on the Fireside Committee in my ward, which means that we plan firesides for the stake and ward. We invite people to come speak and make sure word gets out about the events.
