Hi I'm Jacob Malasky

I was born and raised in South Carolina, I love music and Disney movies, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished high school and will start college after my two-year mission. I plan to major in composition and go into film score. I'd basically be doing what John Williams or Alan Menken does. Music has always been a big part of life; I play the trumpet, french horn, piano, and I sing. I also love reading! Right now I'm reading the Harry Potter series and the Peter and the Starcatchers series.

Why I am a Mormon

The answer to this question is simple: being a Mormon makes me happy. I guess a follow-up question would be 'How?' Christ's restored gospel, found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, gives me purpose and direction. I don't have to be confused or angry wondering why I'm here or where I'm going, the gospel answers those questions. Following Christ's teachings has provided me with countless experiences filled with joy and love. If I were to write them all I would definitely need more than 2000 characters. I'm a Mormon because I love it and because I know for myself that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true. He is real and has a plan for me. Discovering and following that plan gives me the greatest joy.

How I live my faith

My faith is a lifestyle. Every day I'm think about Jesus Christ and His gospel at least once. Every Sunday and Wednesday I'm at church learning about Jesus and strengthening my testimony or having a fun time with the other members; they're kind of like a second family to me.
