Hi I'm michael

I grew up in Ecuador and am a student at BYUI, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Michael, and I am from Ecuador and moved to the United States when I was Ten years old. I learned English and joined Boy Scouts. I always tried my hardest in order to be a good student. I did wrestling and tennis in high school. I also volunteer for Key club. I went to BYU-Idaho for college because it was the right place for me. I tutored Spanish and I also translated websites to Spanish. My major is Biochemistry and my dream is to be a dentist.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow the gospel because I want to be married in the temple for time and all eternity. This is why I keep myself worthy and a good priesthood holder. I love this gospel. I want my future family to have the blessings and joy that this gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I was my bishops assistant in Florida. I also was the senior patrol leader and former Eagle Scout. I love volunteering and helping people reach their goals. I believe that anyone is capable of doing it. Sometimes Heavenly Father puts people in our lives to helps us reach those goals with their help. I know he loves us so much and that he wants the best for us.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

michael
The word of wisdom is not participating with chemicals or drugs that are harmful to our body. Heavenly Father loves us and he wants the best for us. When we take care of our body and are clean he will bless us so much. You can see this in the old testament in Daniel. He has faith and follows the Lord no matter the circumstances. He declines the wine to the King. Later he is blessed because it shows how strong the word of wisdom is. It is a beautiful story. The Lord will bless us with knowledge and it will help the Holy Ghost be there next to us. Show more Show less
