Hi I'm Josias

Born and raised in the motherland, now living in Canada ey, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid Liverpool fan, born and raised a Reds fan (YNWA). I enjoy travelling, learning about different cultures. I can watch National Geographics all day, I find the animal world a really beautiful and fascinating place. I play quite a few sports and always willing to try other sports. When I am not learning about king cobras and great whites I am working through spreadsheets and running financial reports.

Why I am a Mormon

I know of no other better way to live than living the gospel of Jesus of Christ. I love the Book of Mormon, it took me 4 years after my baptism to read the book from cover to cover the Book of Mormon. In it I came to understand Heavenly Father's plan for all His children, but I also learned about Christ and the atonement. I am a Mormon because I have come to know my true divine potential; I am a son of God, and there's no other place where one can learn that truth, except in the Book of Mormon. That knowledge has carried me through my ups and downs, I know who I was, who I am now, and who I want to become.

How I live my faith

I find service as a great tool that has helped me become selfless. As a hometeacher or even as a friend, there's many opportunities of service; service is something I find rewarding, and I know it can be challenging but I love the feeling when I serve and especially after. I like being the go to guy with a pick up truck in our ward whenever members are in the process of moving, not only is it my duty, I made a covenant to serve those in need of service, an absolute joy.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Josias
Mormons love and revere the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible contains important truths such as the creation of the world, the fall and the life and teachings of the Savior Jesus Christ. Indeed it was a verse from the bible that led the prophet Joseph Smith to pray and ask Heavenly Father about the true church. In our of our articles of faith we proclaim " We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God” (Article of Faith 9). As a Mormon, I know the Holy Bible to be the word of God, the stick of Judah given to us in our day to go hand in hand with the Book of Mormon. And I believe Heavenly Father will continue to reveal His truth to us His children, what a privilege! Show more Show less
