Hi I'm Eli

I recently graduated high school. I am an Eagle Scout. I want to go into the field of mechanical engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love athletics. In high school I played basketball and volleyball. I love scouting and all that it stands for. I have also earned my Eagle Scout award. I am going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Milan Italy. After my mission I plan to go to college for a degree in mechanical engineering. I hope to be married in a temple of God and have my own family some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life. I have been taught by my parents to live the gospel and go to church. I continue to be a member of this church because I know that it has blessed my life and the lives of countless others. In just the past few months I have seen blessings in my life that I know have come through me being a member of this church. In preparing for my mission I have felt such an immense love for the people of the area in which I will be serving, and for all those who I associate with on a daily basis. I have also felt the continued companionship of the Holly Ghost as I make righteous and good decisions. I know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that there is a living prophet in the earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Throughout my life I have been blessed by attending my church meetings and by daily reading my scriptures and praying. I know that as we continue to do what we know is right and to strive to act as Christ acted while in the earth we will be blessed in ways that we cannot imagine.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in many youth presidencies, planning activities for my class and teaching class lessons every so often. I have also been involved in teaching other members of my ward through home teaching. I have received my mission call to Milan, Italy. I will be leaving on October 18th 2017. This will undoubtedly be one of the greatest experiences of my life. I am very excited.
