Hi I'm Bryana

I grew up in New Zealand, moved to Australia in 2007. I grew up in the gospel. Currently preparing for a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my hobbies include; Camping, reading, hanging out with friends and family. I worked in a Women's Prison and have recently finished up to go serve the Lord (On a Mission).

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church meant it was all i ever knew. My parents are strong members and were always such a great example to me. At the age of 12/13 i started to question if this was the true church, i had doubts. I started to focus more on my friends and the world around me than my religion, as most teens do. At the age of 14 i lost a very close friend, i was angry i didn't understand how someone i loved so dearly could have been taken away from me? How could God let this happen? A few weeks went by i was still angry and couldn't understand. Until one day came, where i couldn't take the hurt and anger i was feeling any longer. I got on my knees and prayed. I asked Heavenly Father to help me understand, that was all i wanted, to know why. I got such a profound answer, i was told that she was needed somewhere else. I opened my eyes and i felt an immediate comfort and i knew she was okay and that i would see her again. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ and through the Plan of Salvation i am able to see her again. I am so grateful to have this knowledge and to be a member of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I attend all my church meetings and visit other members, finding out if there is anything they need or are struggling with. Mostly its a way to make friends with one another.
