Hi I'm Roger

Having spent 38 years as an educator I am amazed at the goodness and infinite potential of youth of the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I first wanted to be an educator at the age of 14. There is something about helping others learn that is so satisfying. Seeing the light of comprehension go on is so rewarding. As a coach of multiple sports, teacher of mathematics and principal I have found that believing in the goodness of our youth, high expectations and then providing multiple opportunities for success is critical in developing competent successful adults. It has been my lifelong pursuit to assist the next generation find true happiness. !Now as a retired educator I spend my time serving the youth of my church. They truly are our future

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because through the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints I have found true and lasting happiness as I serve our Heavenly Father. As I serve blessings flow, understanding of eternal truths increase, and love flows from my Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fukuoka Japan. I spend my time working with the young men and women who are missionaries for the church in that area. Lifting their spirits when they are home sick, assisting them in their daily living needs and being "Dad" when the need arises.
