Hi I'm Isaac Browning

I'm a percussionist, I'm a history buff, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school, and am serving a mission in England for two years. I love to play the drums, and when I get back from my mission I will study percussion in college, and hopefully move on to business or engineering. Some of my hobbies include hiking, reading, and hanging out with my family. I enjoy traveling, and have been to countries such as Thailand and Germany. I also enjoy recreational sports, whether it's hockey, volleyball, or ultimate frisbee.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? I love our Savior, Jesus Christ, and I know that this is His true church. I know it was restored through Joseph Smith in the early 1800s, and I know that there is a prophet on the earth today who gives guidance to us straight from Christ. I know that living the standards of the LDS church brings a greater sense of peace and accomplishment to my life. I know that only through the proper priesthood authority found in this Church can I receive the requirements needed for exaltation and eternal life. I am so very grateful for Christ's atonement for all of mankind, and I love sharing that knowledge with those who want to experience it.

How I live my faith

In the LDS church, I was called to be a temple and family history consultant. In this position, I was able to help members of my ward find names of deceased ancestors who they could be proxy for as they completed their ordinances in our temples. I was also in a leadership position in my youth group, and went through the youth program for the Church. I attend the temple as often as I can, and experience joy and peace from doing so. One of the most important things I do each week is partaking of the sacrament, which reminds and renews my baptismal covenant I made when I was 8. For these two years, I am setting aside my life to serve a mission for Christ, as I teach others about His Gospel, and His love for them. I strive to keep His commandments, and follow in His footsteps, as I share my testimony of Him.
