Hi I'm David

I grew up on the east coast. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I play basketball, and football. I just graduated high school. I'm leaving on a mission to Honduras.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, both my mother and father were faithful members. Some might say that is why I'm Mormon. But that is not the only reason I stayed in the church. The main reasons I'm Mormon is because i found the truthfulness of the gospel. I have searched and prayed for a rightful truth and I have received it through the power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

My Faith is my life. Everything I do, Everything I am is because I'm Mormon. I've had multiple calling all of them have taken time, effort and patience. Most importantly it takes service. The most important calling I have accepted is the calling to service the Lord. I doing this by giving two years of complete dedication to him by serving a mission. I have been called to Comayaguela, Honduras. I do this willing with the only payment or return is the blessing from heavenly father and the opportunity to bring others to those blessings.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Heavenly Father wants all his children to come back to live with Him and baptism and other saving ordinances are essential for us to live with him again. But how is that fair for those that have died, they didnt have the opportunity to have the gospel in their moral life. That may not be their fault. All people should have a chance to come onto Christ. So church members are able to aid those that have died by doing their baptism in their place. Show more Show less
