Hi I'm Tiffany

i love marketing, i do yoga, i spend a lot of money on makeup, i'm going to south eastern Mexico for 18 months. i'm a Mormon.

About Me

i am a student at the University of Wyoming, majoring in marketing and minoring (is that a word) in graphic design. my free time (lol what is free time?) is spent doodling, napping, online shopping, or the occasional recreational run or yoga time. i love to take pictures and write and do artsy things and share them on the internet.

Why I am a Mormon

Seeing people around me who don't have the blessing of the gospel in their lives reminds me why i am so grateful that i do. in dealing with any hardship, adversity, stress, doubt, question, celebration, joy, or pain, I am able to turn to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and share it with Him. He helps to ease the burden of my struggles and wants to celebrate the excitment of my victories. The gospel teaches me how much my brother Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven love me. it teaches me that this life is one small piece of a much greater picture. it teaches me that things like budgeting, refraining from drugs and alcohol, dressing my body with respect, and being responsible with my choices does not limit me in the way it may seem. i am liberated by this way of life and am able to live freer because of the good choices I strive to make and the guidelines i follow. I am a Mormon because the HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and COMFORT that i have felt because of this gospel has changed my life in an indescrible way. there is light in every darkness, there is a dawn to every day, and there is a blessing in every trial and I am able to see that because of the glorious eternal plan of my Heavenly Father and the knowledge He provides me with through His restored gospel on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

i live my faith by attending church every week and meeting people who share my beliefs at church activities. i coordinate the Family Home Evening activites for my Young Single Adult (college) ward, by planning things to do to bond as ward members and also have fun (and eat snacks, of course).

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We are imperfect beings. It's not in our nature to only make good choices all the time and to never do anything we probably shouldn't do. Our Heavenly Father IS perfect, and "no unclean thing can enter into His presence." But because He loves us more than we can comprehend, He wants us to be able to return to live with Him for eternity after this life. He provided a way that we can repent of our sins and that the necessary price can be paid for the wrongs we have done and will do. We could not pay this price ourselves, so His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, who is absolutely perfect, suffered for our sins so that WHEN we mess up, we are able to be forgiven of our sins through this perfect sacrifice. Without this perfect sacrifice, we couldn't live with our Heavenly Father again and we would not be able to be forgiven of our sins. We would be stuck. So the Savior and His atonement save us.
