Hi I'm Juan

I am Peruvian. I love Design. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a learner. Little by little I discovered my passion for visual arts. I plan to study Graphic Desing, but my curiosity can't wait. Since I noticed what I like, I have been learning all I can by myself. The Internet is such a useful tool. I've learned to work with the right software and to make some good stuff out of it. I've been working with this knowledge to obtain funds for my mission. When you love something, there is no way you can't dedicate your time to it. Furthermore, thanks to Pathway (a church educational program), I know now that I can apply the gospel to anything I learn. God is the greatest designer ever. If you observe carefully, you'll see all the beauty in His work. All the things that inspire artists to do their masterpieces, photographers to capture their best pictures, architects to design marvelous buildings, all come from His creation. There is so much to learn. That's pretty exciting. I have some hobbies, too. I like playing guitar and some piano, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. I do exercise at home and sometimes I go running.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church. Nevertheless, I chose to stay here the same way others do. I asked my Father in Heaven if all the things I learned there were truthful, and I received an answer. I can testify I noticed how the Spirit stayed by my side constantly during all my life, and I felt great gratitude to God, His Son and His Plan of Happiness. I know this gospel is true, and I testify of all church teachings. God has a Plan for us, and if we choose to follow it, we'll see major things than we've ever imagined. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm a Seminary teacher. Here, we give classes at 6 AM. As my students, I am young. So, even after attending Seminary for 4 years, it stills challenging to leave a warm bed and go to church with the cold wind surrounding you, but I can assure you it worths it. I've learned so much giving this classes to the youth. I'm also a Family History consultant and I've taught some brethren to use the resources provided by the church. It is a privilege to see how families gather again thanks to family history and indexing.
