Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a musician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school and have since completed my freshman year of college. I decided to put my mission papers in, and have received my call to Orlando, Florida. I leave in a couple months. When I return from my mission I will be pursuing an architecture degree. I love to play the piano, and sing either by myself or in a choir. I have only one sibling, a little sister. We like to hammock in the front yard and play video games together. I have two dogs, a beagle and a chihuahua, and they are constantly spoiled with cuddles and tummy rubs.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the covenant. Meaning, my parents were a member of this church before I was born. I feel very lucky to have grown up learning about the gospel and enjoying its blessings. However, I have also taken the time to pray and receive my own personal revelation to know that the church is true. I am a Mormon because of the light the gospel brings into my life, and because I know without a doubt that this is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

On Sundays, at church, I substitute youth classes when the teachers have a family reunion or are sick, etc. I prepare a lesson to teach a certain topic or story in a way that children can relate to and understand. I also accompany our ward's choir during practices and when we sing in church. We choose music that uplifts and shares truths about the gospel. Outside of church I live my faith by dressing modestly, using a clean vocabulary, and not partaking in any activities such as drinking alcohol or smoking, etc.
