Hi I'm Vidi Castaneda

I am the oldest of 6 children. I grew up in the US, but my parents are Mexican. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very visual person and love to look at God's beautiful creations each and every day. I love to draw and paint, and have participated in both school and ward choirs mostly as an alto. I also play both the piano and the viola and I especially love singing hymns as I work around the house. I also enjoy expanding my mind and going to school and I especially am interested in mathematics and history. I enjoy doing family history work and traveling to new places. I also love helping people and it nothing feels better than seeing someone smile after you uplift them in some way.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up learning and knowing about the gospel of Jesus Christ and I am continually blessed having parents who are so strong in the faith. In my teenage years, I gradually was able to gain a testimony for myself to know for a surety that this truly is the gospel of Christ through my many experiences. I know from reading the scriptures and through prayer and my testimony has strengthened which is why I continue to follow His gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day by striving to be the best example I can be and continuously strive to strengthen my relationship with God. I participate in visiting teaching by getting to know three wonderful sisters in our ward each month. In fact, I am about to go and serve in an LDS mission and will be a missionary.
