Hi I'm Carver Black

I'm an outdoorsman, I love hunting, I love sports, I love Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town. I love being outdoors in God's beautiful country. I enjoy hunting and sports. There are 5 people in my family, I have 2 sisters and I am the middle child. All of my grandparents live within 3 blocks of my house, and I love my family. Currently I am a high school graduate with 39 college credits.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel that the message of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a true message. I have found much peace in my life through Christ's teachings. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is true because of the peace it brings. It also has an unexplainable power that has helped heal me spiritually and physically. I love Christ and he has given His life for us. We can be forgiven of our sins and that is one of the most comforting messages of the gospel. Families don't end at the grave, they last beyond the grave. I know that I will see my family again some day. I have come to know these things through this church and its living prophet. I have found the truth, and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my good works. Service is one of my favorite things to do. Whether it's helping a neighbor with yard work, or shoveling snow, or carrying groceries, or anything else I love acts of service. I have also had many opportunities to teach people the things I believe. I also have taught the youth in my church ward how to do family history and genealogy work. I've shown them how to find the names of their ancestors. I love all opportunities to help people in any way that I can!
