Hi I'm Brynn

I grew up all over the world in an Air Force family. Now I'm a biochemistry major, hoping to become a doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student, and I love chemistry. In my free time I love to bike and to bake - I'm addicted to anything chocolate. I also love to play the piano, and I taught kids during high school to earn money for college!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my life is richer with the gospel in it. Throughout my younger years, as I searched for meaning and contentment in life, I noticed an important pattern: when I read my scriptures, prayed earnestly and really tried to follow the teachings of Jesus, I was happier! Even if life was hard and external reasons were discouraging, I felt that I could handle anything because I knew I was not alone. I had a God standing with me, and the more I tried to learn about Him, the more my life was blessed. The teachings in the Book of Mormon are simple and true. When I am studying every day in the Book of Mormon and trying to apply that knowledge to my actions, I feel a strength and peace in my life that I could never have achieved on my own. This is why I continue in the Mormon faith - because I'm better with it!

How I live my faith

I'm about to spend 18 months as a missionary in Argentina, serving the people in any way I can and teaching them what I know about the Savior. In high school, I spent my mornings at a church building before school, studying the scriptures with other Mormon high school-ers! Then on Wednesday nights I was in charge of a group of girls my age who came together to do activities bringing us closer to Christ and to each other. Even though it was a big time commitment, every minute was worth it because what we were doing was so important!
