Hi I'm Joe McDonald

I grew up in Cedar Hills, Utah. I graduated from Lone Peak High School. I served my Mission in D.C., and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from Cedar Hills, Utah I am the only boy of 5 Sisters. I love Sports I may not be very good but I can talk a lot on the court. My favorite sports are easily football and basketball. I'm a huge Wizards fan and New Orlean Saint fan. I'll be going to UVU this fall.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I reached a point in my life when I had a lot of questions. I grew up a member but I didn't really know if God was there. I was always told to read and pray but I never felt anything. I finally decided I needed to figure out if this is all really true. And I can say today I know it is. By actually reading and pondering what's in the Book of Mormon I learned who God is and that He knows who I am. I learned more about my Savior Jesus Christ and how he can help me through the challenges in life. I'm a Mormon because I know God lives, Jesus Christ is my Savior, and God loves us enough to Restore more truth for each of us to have.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be like Jesus Christ. I come short almost every time but doing my best to do what he would do and offer service to those around me. As a Missionary I was able to teach College age students at Georgetown and Maryland universities and it was a great experience to share the gospel and help them make the first steps in following it.
