Hi I'm Karl

Hi, I'm Karl I'm a Mormon and I was recently called to serve as a missionary for the church in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission!

About Me

My name is Karl and I am 20 years old. I was born in Ukraine and was later adopted at a young age to my American parents. Recently I was called to serve as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Georgia Atlanta North Mission, Spanish speaking! I report to the Mexico MTC on Oct 31st. I have traveled around the world a lot allowing me the opportunity to meet new people and their cultures. I love playing soccer, running and traveling the world. I am a student at Brigham Young University Idaho majoring in Political Science!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being Mormon is what makes me truly happy. The teaching of the LDS faith have helped be to overcome obstacles in my life. It has allowed me to prioritize the things that are really meaningful to me, like my family, education and my belief in Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. My parents were members of the church which meant that I grew up in the church but at times I would question things about the church. It wasn't until I prayed to God to know if these things were true that I did receive an answer from God through the Holy Ghost that the Church was true and the Gospel really does blesses lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by just trying to be an example for those around me. Though I am not perfect I try to read my scriptures and pray to God daily. This helps me to learn more about my faith and how I can be happy. Also, I love helping people. I believe that by serving others around me I am living my faith.
