Hi I'm Sydney

I'm from Orem, Utah. I'm serving a mission for the church for 18 months in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have graduated from high school and have attended one year of college. I have loved my experience there. I'm studying marriage and family studies and I really like it. I'm going to be taking a year and a half off to go on a mission and I couldn't be happier. I really enjoy hanging out with my brothers and sisters, listening to music, and drawing.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know this church is true. I had the great blessing of being born into this gospel, but that doesn't mean I don't have a conversion story. I still had to find out for myself that this church is true. My conversion came little by little by doing the small and simple things like reading my scriptures and saying my prayers every day. This helped me gain a strong connection with my Father in Heaven and a love for his children. This is a big reason why I decided to serve a mission. I want all of God's children to know how wonderful they are. They are children of God. That's so cool!

How I live my faith

Some of the callings I've had in the church are organizing activities for my singles ward, bringing food for get-togethers, and teaching lessons during church. My favorite out of these has definitely been teaching. I've learned so much! I was in charge of teaching the women during the last hour of our three-hour block and it was amazing.
