Hi I'm Mica

I grew up in Southern Utah. I've been attending college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending college. I love reading, hiking, braiding hair, and camping. I've moved around quite a bit. I love going to Alaska during the summer. I want to go to cosmetology school after I get my associates degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have yet to find anything else that offers so much truth and light. John 6 tells the story of when Jesus was teaching His disciples and a lot of them left. Then Jesus turned to the 12 apostles and asked if they were going to leave too. Simon Peter answered "to whom shall we go?" (John 6:68). I have had plenty of opportunities to leave the gospel, but there is nothing in this world that offers as much as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This church offers exaltation and the opportunity to continue progressing after this life through following Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Together He and Heavenly Father created this world and gave us everything we need to return home to Him. The Book of Mormon holds more truth than any other book I have read. I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven, and I know they love me because I am a daughter of God and Jesus is my brother.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church services every week. I have served on the activities committee, the Family Home Evening committee, and as the ward communications specialist in previous wards. I participate in visiting teaching the best that I can. I try to find opportunities to serve those within my ward and to participate in ward service activities. I go to the temple as often as I can and try to find my own family names to take with me. I try to live my life as an example to those around me who do not have the gospel in their own lives.
