Hi I'm Arielle

I am from Guatemala and was called to serve in the Mexico Monterrey East Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Guatemala all my life, but I have many friends from all over the world and I love learning about their cultures. I just graduated from High School and was accepted into Brigham Young University. I plan to attend after I return from my mission. I love reading, writing, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy and because I feel God's love in this church. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true and that this is the way Jesus showed that we must follow in order to return to our Heavenly Father. We are all children of God, and as so, we have a divine potential and legacy. We can, one day, return to live with Him again with our families forever. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He payed the price for us to become clean again after we repent. I know He loves us and died for us to be able to have a chance to return with Him and God someday. They want us to follow His example and be like Jesus is. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. He saw God and His Begotten Son and through Joseph, the Lord's church was restored again upon this Earth. Joseph Smith did translate the Book of Mormon, a set of records written specifically for us in this time. I know the Book of Mormon is true. It is God's words and in it we can find the answers to our most heart-felt questions. In it, we can find direction and peace in this world full of suffering. In it we can find the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is why I am a Mormon because there is no other church in which I can find the sacred truths of the Gospel of Christ. It is in this church that we find the way which we must follow that will lead us to our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon, I live it and I love it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as Music Director. I work with children from 3 to 12 years old. I teach them about music and we learn and practice songs from the Lds Children's Songbook. I also teach a religious class to children between the ages of 8 and 12. I absolutely love sharing the Gospel with them and being able to see them grow and develop their own testimony. I will also be serving a mission in Mexico where I will be sharing and teaching the people there about the Gospel and what our beliefs as a church are.
