Hi I'm Mary

I'm a Mormon. I love photography and grew up in both Illinois and Utah.

About Me

I have gone to college for a year, but decided to take a break. I am trying to become a professional photographer. I've moved multiple times throughout my life and currently live in Illinois. I've travelled to Florida, Washington D.C., Utah, and the Dominican Republic.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in the doctrine and it's teachings. My Dad died a little over a year ago from overdosing on pain medication. It came suddenly with no warning. I never got to say goodbye and can't even remember our last words to each other because they were in passing. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me so much peace knowing that not only will I be able to see him again some day, but I've learned that he has returned home again. He is content and at peace. I will speak to him again and he is looking after me and my family right now.

How I live my faith

I go to Church every Sunday with my family and attend classes with them. I have been in leadership positions within the Church in the past, but don't currently serve in one. Sometimes it's refreshing to simply attend meetings instead of being the one to lead it.

What is the Relief Society?

A group of women who support and encourage each other. They can be of any age from 18 and on. They attend classes together and organize service projects for people in and out of the Church. Show more Show less
