Hi I'm Jessica

I love math. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am the youngest of three children. I am currently in my Sophomore year of college. I am majoring in Mathematical Education. I love to be out in nature and be adventurous, but I also love a good book. I did an Academic Tour (mini study abroad) in Mexico and Belize.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors have been members of the church since it was organized in the 1800's. I am a Mormon because I love the happiness and peace it gives to me. I love being able to know what my purpose here on earth is and where I will be after this life. I love that everyone can return to our Heavenly Father. I love how important family is to the Church and the principles that our taught. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints enlightens and uplifts others. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and everyone else that has been or will be on this earth. I know that I can be saved because of Jesus Christ atoning for my sins. I know this Church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me, but particularly girls between the ages of 12-18. I volunteer as often as I can to help those girls. I try to be a good example to them, but also teaching them and love them to do what is right. I believe a huge way to show my faith is just being an example and living what I believe. I will often ask my neighbors or community members if they need help. I also volunteered to help those that had disabilities.
