Hi I'm Peter Jeppesen

I'm a Utahn, a fun-fact enthusiast, and a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, wondrous world of the internet. My name is Peter I am the second child of 4, and I quite like it. Being the middle-ish child is pretty great. I'd like to think I'm a connoisseur of good music. I like a wide variety of music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. I feel as though I was born in the wrong era, because virtually all of the music I like is far older than I am. I enjoy all kinds of sports. Specifically, I played lacrosse in high school and little-league/rec soccer, baseball, and basketball at some point growing up. Lacrosse is the sport I seemed to hate the least, so it became the sport pursued it with a little more vigor. I love science, math, writing, reading, and telling people what I love. I like to challenge my mind, and learn new things each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am lucky enough to have been born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormon Church). This does not mean that I don't know for myself that the church is true. I truly do. My parents have allowed me to find out for myself, and have never coerced me into going to church. I have prayed to know of the truthfulness of the church, and I can testify to you that it is the true church on the earth. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and prayed about it and I know of its validity and the key role it plays in our lives. I know that as each of us strive to serve those around us, our brothers and sisters, we will be richly blessed. This knowledge I have obtained is so important and sacred to me, and is largely why I will be serving a mission. I want to help others feel the love God has for them, as they grow in the gospel, because I have felt this love so beautifully in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me through the LDS Church. Faith in God is essential, and has been instilled in me from a young age. Additionally, I am also headed on a mission to the Caribbean speaking French, so I feel as though that is definitely living my faith. I'll update this account when I return, and hopefully fill it with faith promoting experiences and success stories. I love the church, and I testify that I can "do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13) I invite you all to live your faith, and rely fully on the Lord, because I promise that you feel His guiding hand.
