Hi I'm Luke Griesemer

I grew up in a small town in Indiana. I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Indiana. I love to play football and basketball, both of which I played in high school. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I am preparing to serve a mission in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life and sometimes it is hard because I don't have a clear and memorable conversion story of when my testimony was built. My testimony and faith was built precept upon precept, as the Savior said. Growing up I tried my best to obey God's commandments, do the little things to help strengthen my testimony, and be an example to those around me. As I did these things, over time, my testimony and faith grew. In short, I am a Mormon because of the spirit that testifies to me every time I hear the gospel. I know that I am a child of God and that he has a plan for me. I know that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to Earth to atone for our sins and to make it possible for us to return to live with him someday. I also know that Heavenly Father and Jesus revealed themselves to Joseph Smith and that through the power of God, Joseph Smith restored God's church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by currently being the first assistant in the priest's quorum in my ward. I also live my faith by going hometeaching and regularly visiting my assigned families. Another way that I live my faith is by going on exchanges the my ward missionaries and either teaching lessons or doing service for others. The last way that I live my faith is that I am preparing to serve a mission in the upcoming months. All of these things combing to how I live my faith and how I show my love and devotion to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
