Hi I'm Ashley

I've grown up in Washington State. I'm a Dental Assistant and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a Dental Assistant for about a year and a half. I want to go back to school for Dental Hygiene after I serve my mission. I'll be serving in El Salvador. I enjoy spending time with family, and being active.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been given the privilege to grow up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints. Since I can remember I have always known it has been the right thing to participate in. It was not until I was 12 years old though, that my true conversion began. I was at Girl's Camp( a week long camping trip for 12-18 years girls) when I could not get this warm feeling out of my chest, it was then that the Holy Ghost testified to me that this was the true church. As I continued growing up warm feelings kept coming as I lived righteously by living the commandments, reading my scriptures, praying daily and going to church. I would like to bear my testimony that I know that this is, and will always be the only true church. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and restored the true gospel back on Earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet on the Earth today. I know that our Heavenly Father truly knows everything we go through- the good and the bad. I know that we are given trials not to knock us down, but to make us strong. I know that when we rely on the Lord for everything we can truly overcome anything. I know that because of Jesus Christ and his Atonement I can be forgiven of all my sins. That through his mercy, I will be able to return to our Heavenly Father again. I am nothing without my Heavenly Father, and Savior Jesus Christ. They have given me everything, and I will not deny of their presence. I say these things, humbly in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

The way a live my faith is by the simple things. For example going to church every Sunday and participating in church activities throughout the week. I try each day to become closer to my Heavenly Father and Christ by reading my scriptures, praying to him day and night, and serving those around me. Always remembering to be thankful.
