Hi I'm Jenny

I am a mother, grandmother, wife, daughter of God, and I'm a Mormon. I am a Canadian.

About Me

Being a Grandma is so rewarding, I have 16 grandchildren whom I love deeply. I'm a bit of a clean freak. I'm a sewer, gardener and soap maker. When I wake up in the morning, I feel grateful for all my blessings that the Lord has given me. It's a big world with lots to do to keep me busy. Helping other people has always been a passion of mine. My husband and I have always had a goal to serve a mission. We have been called by a Prophet of God to serve a mission in the Athens, Greece mission. This is an adventure that I will always treasure. My husband is my best friend. We do lots together. One of the most common things we do together is play scrabble. It's a serious affair, but we love the challenge. Life is a challenge. Together we can work on our challenges.

Why I am a Mormon

This great gospel of Jesus Christ gives me a determination to be obedient to my Heavenly Father by making good choices each day. I am far from perfect. Many bumps have happened along my way. Each time I am able to pray and read from the holy scriptures to give me strength and determination to carry on faithfully. I know God lives and loves me. He wants me to be happy. Satan would have me be grouchy and unthankful and miserable like he is. Jesus Christ is my Savior and Friend. He will succor me always if I seek Him. It's my blessing to associate with many friends and neighbors who are searching for the truth. It's my prayer that I can be an instrument in helping them see the way to come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve in the church in many ways. I serve in the nursery each Sunday taking care of, playing and teaching the little children that are between 18 months and 3 years old. Each Saturday I pick up a carload of bread to deliver and share with others who could use it. The bread is about a day old and is FREE. Free is such an amazing word to me. As a young Mom, I loved free stuff to help care for my family. We always had enough. I was able to improvise and make do. Our children are all active in the church with their little families. I am happy.
