Hi I'm Anna

I'm from Provo, Utah and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a huge fan of the Utah Jazz! I love soccer and I love to write. I also love the Spanish language.

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, this is a question I've asked myself repeatedly throughout my life. There were even times when I didn't know if I wanted to be a Mormon anymore. But then there were other times. Times when I felt like my world was falling apart and the only way I got through the night was praying and relying on my Heavenly Father to stay by me and comfort me. Times when I cried because I felt so frustrated with life that the only relief I felt was when I prayed. Times when reading my scriptures was the only thing that kept me going. And times that I sat in sacrament meeting and listened to my older brother talk about his mission in his homecoming talk and felt a happiness and peacefulness that I've never felt before, a time that I remembered all the times the Lord was there for me when I had no one else. I know what people say about our Church. I know there is a lot of skepticism and disbelief out there. But I know what I believe. And I also know that nothing has brought me more happiness than this gospel. I know despite any doubts I've had, there's a God. And I know he loves me. And I know he has a plan for us and has sent people and ways to us for us to lead happy, successful lives. I am a Mormon because despite everything, nothing makes me happier than being one. I want the world to know that.

How I live my faith

I am a former president of my young women's group. I have also previously participated in Youth Council, a group that would gather monthly to discuss and plan for other youth in their religious community. I am currently preparing to serve for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a full time missionary in Santiago, Chile!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Because they've experienced the happiness and Joy that comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ, and they want others to know and feel that same joy and happiness. Show more Show less
