Hi I'm Trevor Dailey

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah. I love my family and my community. I am excited to be a police officer some day.

About Me

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I am excited to have been called to serve in the Uganda Kampala mission. I will working with and serving the people of Uganda for two years. I am from the United States and I have lived in Utah my whole life. I love spending time with my family and being outdoors and doing things such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing, etc. I am grateful that I was blessed to have lived in this beautiful state with so many opportunities to spend time in nature. When I get home from Uganda I am planning on going to college and putting myself through the police academy so that I can have my dream job of being a police officer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon by choice and by action, not because I am forced to. I believe in and have a testimony of this church. I agree with and believe in the values and teachings of the church. I love my family and I believe that I should support them no matter what. I love that this church has such a heavy focus on family. I have had many experiences that have confirmed to me that this church is true. One in particular was when I was in a car crash and my brand new car that I had had for only 2 days was totaled. I was able to feel my Father in Heavens hand in that moment and the weeks after. Luckily no one was injured. My insurance paid of my car completely and it made me realize that my life could end at any minute so I have to live a life that I and my Heavenly Father could be proud of. And also that I needed to be making the right choices constantly and I needed to continually repent of any sins that I have committed. So that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active member of my ward and serving in many callings. I have been a part of the presidencies of the quorums that I have been in previously. My current calling is youth sunday school teacher. I teach the 12 year old's in my ward. It has been very challenging to teach them because I am not a great teacher but I love doing it. This is one of the reasons that I love being a member of this church because it puts you in many difficult and challenging situations that help you grow and learn. I also have never worked with many members of the church at the jobs that I have had and I have always stayed true to what I believe in. I have always made sure that they know my standards and they usually respect those standards because I respect them and I am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in. It has put me in many places to share my beliefs with others.
