Hi I'm Cliff Jaren

Hi! I'm Cliff Jaren, and I grew up in the Philippines, in Bohol to be exact. I grew up in a mormon family, and yes I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm the eldest of 7 children, I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters. I know how to play a guitar, basketball and table tennis. And I love watching anime's, I paint sometimes but not too often. And I play also computer games.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little, my mom and dad would go to church every Sunday. And as a child growing up in that kind of family, I began to be curious. I started searching the scriptures when I was in 3rd year high-school or senior high. I devoted myself to going to church every Sunday and prayerfully studied the gospel. My family is not a perfect family. Just like any family, we also have problems. My father is just a carpenter and my mom is a housewife, and we struggle financially, providing the needs of a big family with little income. But I have seen many miracles in my own life, because even if we really struggle financially, and somehow we manage to end each day with a smile. I am very proud of my father, because he is really a hardworking man, and a man of God. That's when my faith began to be strong, because of the example of my father. I want to be like him also when I would raise a family of my own. He is a big influence of why I'm a Mormon. And that God never left us behind, in times of trials he was always there. And I will be forever thankful of that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively participating on our church activities, like visiting some friends and teaching them about the gospel. I love giving advises, especially to my friends, when they have a problem. And through those things, I can apply the teachings of the church to others and also to myself. I am very happy to have known the church. And we continually cherish and thankful to all the blessings that we have received as a family.
