Hi I'm Miranda

I was born in Miami and raised in Orlando. I play the cello. I love theatre. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love theater and music. I will be serving as a full-time missionary for the church in September. I like to read and do puzzles. I love children. I plan to study social working and psychology in school after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of this faith because I know that we have a Father in Heaven. I know He lives and loves us. He wants us to be happy and with this gospel, we, Mormons, have a plan of Happiness. We are able to live in eternity in happiness and be with our families forever. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith had a vision that lead him to the gold plates, which he translated to what we know today as the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is a book of scripture, like the Bible, that testifies of Christ on this Earth. I know there were ancient peoples who lived in the Americas and their lives were recorded in the Book of Mormon. I know that I receive happiness when I live the gospel. I am protected when I listen to the Spirit. My body and my mind are kept healthy. I know that Christ lived on this Earth and atoned for our sins. He sacrificed himself for our sins and only asks that we keep his commandments. I know He is merciful. I have overcome much by turning to the Lord. I have knelt in prayer and felt His reassuring presence and the peace brought only by Him. I have felt the Spirit testify to me as I read the scriptures, attend church meetings, and listened to the Leaders of our Church. I know I can be with Him again and that this faith is a living and true faith of God.

How I live my faith

I teach lessons at church once a month. I used to teach gospel related music to the young children of our congregation. I dress modestly by wearing clothes that cover my shoulders, don't have a low cut neckline and are at a mid thigh or longer length. I attend church weekly and also go to a scripture study class, once a week, called Institute.
