Hi I'm Alea Simmons

I grew up in Utah. I am a student at Utah State University. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love humanitarian work. I love crafts. I enjoy clogging (a type of dance) and playing the piano. I recently started teaching piano lessons, and love sharing my knowledge. I am studying Accounting in school; I love business and numbers.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have found a peace in it. I have a testimony that this is Christ's church on the earth now. Because I know this, I know that he is the one to guide the living prophet on this earth, which also guides me in my life. The peace that I have found through Christ and his church has been amazing; in times of family hardships or in personal struggles I have felt his love and found peace that I continue to have throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through trying to remember to view others the way Christ would see them. I also live my faith through fulfilling callings in my church, my most recent one has been helping others come to and participate in the Institute of Religion. In the institute we are able to come together to learn more doctrines and share our testimonies throughout the week in addition to Sunday worship.
