Hi I'm Conner

I grew up in Utah. I graduated from Clearfield High School. I love sports and being with my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in the LDS church. I work at a soda and cookie shop with my friends. I love swimming during the summer and skiing during the winter. I am called to serve in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo West Mission and I can't wait until I report to the MTC. I love playing sports with my friends, doesn't matter which sport we always have fun. I enjoy the outdoors such as camping and going to the beach.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and forced to attend church on Sundays up until the age of about 14. Then my family slowly started becoming less active. So if I went to church it was by myself, no one was forcing me to go anymore. I always attended church because I knew it was good, I enjoyed the time I spent at church, and I liked what I was learning. This is how it was up until recently, when it became time to start thinking about mission papers. Leaving your family and all you know to go serve for 2 years is a big decision which I had always just told myself that's what I was going to do. But when the time came, I started taking the gospel more seriously and thinking about this big decision. I started reading the scriptures and praying far more than I ever have. And this time when I read the Book of Mormon, I sincerely read it with real intent to know the truth. And from that I can testify that it is true. This gospel truly blesses lives. I've felt that feeling of renewal after repentance, and I've witness the simple blessings and miracles that come when obeying the Lord's commandments and acting in faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and church youth activities every week. I read my scriptures everyday and pray constantly. I look for the good in life and in others. I try to look for opportunities to serve and further my knowledge of the gospel. And I strive to keep God's commandments.
