Hi I'm Mason McGee

I am from St. Louis Missouri. I like to help others through service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am about to go to college at Brigham Young University. I enjoy marching band, especially the percussion section. I like cashew chicken. Adventure movies and books are great for me. I like to mountain bike, cook, and do building or woodworking projects. Above all else, I love to meet new people, hang out with friends, and spend time with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon all my life, but I feel converted every time I try live like Christ. There's not been one pivotal moment where I knew my testimony began; my testimony and conversion is something that I try to improve daily through scripture study, prayer, service, and trying to follow the example Christ has set for me. I am Mormon because I believe in Christ, that he is my Savior, and that through Him I can return to live with my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I like to study the scriptures, and learn about how Christ lived. I think that if I try every day to live more like Him, then hopefully I'm helping not only myself, but those around me. I enjoy going home teaching, where another member of the church goes with me to visit members of the church. We usually give a short lesson centered around what the family needs and then see how they are doing. If they need help with something around the house or a priesthood blessing, I try to make sure they know that they can depend on their home teachers. I like to meet new people. Getting to know people in my neighborhood, or at work, or somewhere else is usually an awesome new experience each time. I like to talk about my religious beliefs with those I get to know, and to
