Hi I'm Benjamin Black

I'm a small town Idaho boy. I enjoy tinkering with computers and writing software. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in the same small town in Idaho my whole life. I've always been at the top of my class academically. I enjoy tennis, choir, and orchestra, and unicycling. I'm an avid software developer. Serving others is what brings joy to my life. I try to always find ways to help others and see the good in them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I was never really personally converted until my early teens. I believed, but I never really KNEW that Jesus Christ's gospel was true. I experienced true conversion, and now the Gospel is my life. I don't know where I would be without it. I have personally felt the love of our Heavenly Father. Sometimes, when you have the Spirit for so long, you only realize what you truly have when you don't have it. I'm so grateful that I can repent of my sins and not only be clean, but feel clean as well. Why am I a Mormon? Because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church, containing the same gospel Christ revealed anciently, and if we follow the teachings found therein, we can return to live with our Father in Heaven again someday.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every week. My family and I are currently assigned to serve in the Spanish Branch. I teach the 8-9 year old youth. I am about to leave to serve in the Zimbabwe, Harare mission. I love to share the gospel and want everyone to know of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
