Hi I'm Nola Knutti Peterson

I was nurtured by loving and kind parents in Idaho and Utah. I am now a wife, mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be with my family whenever possible. They bring me the greatest joy. I also love to walk, read great books and help others. My husband and I are currently preparing to serve our second mission together.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were strong and faithful LDS members. They taught me the gospel and gave me a strong foundation on which to build my testimony of the Savior. I have prayed about the truthfulness of the gospel, about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and about the prophet Joseph Smith. I have received quiet confirmation through the Holy Ghost that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored gospel of our Savior. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God who helped to restore the gospel and he did translate the Book of Mormon. The teachings found in the Book of Mormon have changed my heart. I love being a member of this Church and I cherish the privilege of helping bring others to the Savior. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that He listens to my prayers and I receive answers. My faith grows each time I share my testimony of the Savior. I know that He lives. I know that He is our Redeemer and our advocate with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I love teaching children, youth and adults about our Savior, Jesus Christ. Most recently I taught gospel doctrine to the adults. My husband and I have the privilege of visiting each month three wonderful families - a faithful family from Mexico, a mother and daughter from Utah, and a single sister from Puerto Rico. We love sharing our testimonies of the Savior.
