Hi I'm Callie

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I'm a Respite Care provider. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball and volleyball! I also like hiking, backpacking, and fishing trips thanks to my amazing church leaders and the activities they would take our youth groups on. While I was in high school I was diagnosed with narcolepsy without cataplexy, and I manage my symptoms through a combination of lifestyle changes and medication. I love learning new things, and I always try to do my best in every aspect of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

My family have always been active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Church has played a huge role in my home and my life as I have grown up. My family have made family scripture study, family prayer, and fulfilling our responsibilities as members of the Church a priority in our lives. I have always loved God, and I have always believed that my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, love me and care about me. I can't pinpoint the exact moment when I realized I was converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ, but it has been a process throughout my life of doing my very best to follow Him and live worthily to return to live in heaven with my eternal family. I'm a Mormon because as I've looked for the hand of God in my life I've been able to see evidence of His love for me in countless ways. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and as I've read it I have been able to feel His love so strongly. I've literally received answers to the questions of my soul. The fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored, and God speaks to His prophets and to His children today! The gospel of Jesus Christ is so wonderful, and I am so humbled for the opportunity that I have to share it as I serve a full-time mission.

How I live my faith

I center my life on Jesus Christ, his teachings and his Church. Making daily personal prayer and scripture study a priority have changed me, and continue to impact my life every single day. I participate in my community by being involved in the local institute and inviting my friends to come and to see for themselves how much fun it can be! I have been my ward's Visiting Teaching Coordinator, where I've helped the sisters in our ward to reach out to each other in love and service.
