Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a pianist, Taco Bell fanatic, college student, and soon to be missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dance, play the piano, and eat Taco Bell! Dancing and playing the piano have always been a way to help calm my stress or relax, and I am beyond grateful for those talents. I have played the piano for almost 12 years and have danced for about thirteen. Taco bell has also always been a passion of mine, and I consider it my comfort food! I also love to spend time with my friends and family. They mean to the world to me, so sharing those amazing memories with them is something I treasure.

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot express how much love, joy, and peace I have felt through this gospel. Because of it, I know of not only my divine worth, but of the worth of all of Heavenly Father's children. I know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going, which gives me a purpose in life to be the best me I can be. This gospel has taught me about the amazing gift the Savior gave us, which was the Atonement, and the ability I have to be clean and free from my sins because of it. This gospel has truly taught me how loved we all are by our Heavenly Father, because He created this whole plan for us to grow and return back to Him. He was willing to sacrifice His Only Begotten Son for us because He knew we would make mistakes, so He gave us a way to become clean. I can't express my gratitude enough for the knowledge and comfort this gospel has brought me.

How I live my faith

One reason I have loved playing the piano is because of the ability I have to touch the lives of others with a talent that I thought was pointless when I first started to play. With this talent, I have been able to be called as a ward pianist for my Single's Ward, and have played pieces of music in church that truly were able to express my love for this gospel. I have also been able to teach as a Mission Prep teach in my Single's Ward, which meant I helped prepare future missionaries on how to teach others and spread the gospel. As somebody who hadn't gone on a mission, it was nice to learn and grow together as a class.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Sarah
The Atonement is a gift given to us by our Heavenly Father and Savior. The Savior suffered immense pain and afflictions because He loved us so much and wanted a way for us to return. He suffered and paid the price for every one of our sins, so that we could repent and be forgiven of them. Not only did He suffer for our sins, but He also suffered for every single pain and trial we would go through, so no matter how alone you may feel when going through something, you are never alone. The Savior knows exactly how you feel and is willing to be there to comfort you and help you. The Atonement was truly an act of love so we can be clean and free from our sins. It gives us the ability to progress and improve our lives because our mistakes won't have the power to hold us back. I can't express my gratitude for the sacrifice our Savior and Heavenly Father made for us. Show more Show less
